Problems with the current bookmarks implementation

Description

Bookmarks don not work; The proper values aren't being set when a chat is created. In addition, the contact controller adds a new contact for every bookmark created. The status of bookmarks (whatever that means) needs to be defined and implemented, right now it's set to "idle."

Are bookmarks required for 1.2? Can we work on them for 1.3?

I've got about 50% of the bookmarking code rewritten locally.. been hacking a bit when I decompress from long days.

(In [21230]) Rewrote most of chat bookmarks. They work on all services with group chat now, use cleaner code, etc. They don't yet save across sessions. Refs #7836

I don't find bookmarks in most recent Adium 1.1.4, and I'm not sure what's implied by SVN issues.

Please:

  • approximately when can we expect users to be able to bookmark group chats?
