Description

Summary says it all: it'd be great to be able to sort the contact list by log size, so people I talk to more are at the top.

I love this feature and it's already in gaim. I use it all the time and I'd love adium to have it too!!! ADIUM RULES!!!

I also would like to see this feature added. By no means a show-stopper, but it would make a nice addition.

yes, this would be great. i loved this feature in gaim, and miss it in adium. it was fun to see my friends compete for the #1 spot on my buddy list.

It'd be nice to get this reopened since the feature never made it in. It was one of my favorite parts of GAIM/Pidgin.

Reopening since this was not actually implemented in #38. I feel that this might be best suited as a plug-in idea so it can be installed by those who want it. (I don't think it would be overly difficult if someone wanted to take a crack at it.)

I post here to remind this feature.

I love it too on Gaim and I would like to see it on Adium soon.

I would prefer to show it as a built-in feature instead of usin' plugins.

I've written a plugin that does this. It hasn't been approved at Adium Xtras yet, but you can get it at http://projects.eatthepath.com/trac/sort-by-log-size-plugin/ in the mean time.

If there's interest, I'd be happy to provide a patch for getting this into Adium proper (rather than as a plugin).

Just to clarify, does the patch sort the ContactList, or the list of contacts in the Chat Transcript Viewer?
