Description

Hi, I love Adium, however from time to time I find myself accidently closing the chat window and this can be bad when for example, I have multiple active chats or a chatroom tabbed because then, especially in the case of chatrooms I have to explain what happened and ask to be reinvited...so I was wondering if it'd be possible for in the next version of Adium for an option to be made in the Preferences area to have Adium confirm that you want to close the chat window if you have more than one tab...is that possible? Please? Thanks! :-)

This should not be harmful to Adium in anyway, and this idea is starting to get some good momentum as shown here: http://forums.cocoaforge.com/viewtopic.php?t=8104&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

Hopefully this feature will be able to get implemented in Adium :-)

(In [21549]) Advanced Status Preferences now use bindings to update their values (or "How I spent my Monday night"). This also adds -- for want of a better place, perhaps a new advanced preference (boo) or renaming Status to be more generic -- a "Quit Confirmation" preference.

This new preference has the choice of: Never confirm, Always confirm or Sometimes confirm. Sometimes has (now) 3 sub-types: file transfers, unread messages and open chats. It's pretty easy to add new ones.

Since "open chats" was never a quit option before, this Fixes #4231.
