Adium does not exhibit the standard behavior when .textClipping icons are dragged into the chat window's text box.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Type some stuff into your Adium chat window, or any text area.
2. Select said stuff.
3. Drag the selected stuff onto your desktop, where a <stuff>.textClipping icon will appear.
4. In the Adium text area, delete selected stuff, leaving a pristine test area.
5. Drag said <stuff>.textClipping icon on to Adium chat window text area.
WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN:
Text from <stuff>.textClipping is pasted into text area, and selected. Pressing return at this point should send the message, with said stuff in it.
WHAT DOES HAPPEN
<stuff>.textClipping's icon shows up in the text area. Pressing return attemps to send the 'file', shows a warning about sending a file with zero bytes, and sends an empty message (which, in testing, the recipient has said he cannot see).
Using Adium X 0.84 on Mac OS X PPC 10.4.2, build 8C46.
