The time/date/timezone should be customizable from within the profile. We're already {...|date_format:""} the dates, why not allow the user to pick the format and timezone?

Timezone, yes. Time format, no.

Although custom time formats would be great, can't Adium detect what is set in the International SysPref?

This ticket is for the xtras website, not for adium. Adium uses the system time format.
