As to the actual issue, in adium can you get info on kelly and see what it says?

What if it said, "every tie I cyber Kelly"? Would that have made it a worthy successor?

Yes, I asked and iChat sees her as available. How does X do with an X11 Gaim install? My Linux box is too far away to Gaim with right now.
