Connecting to Facebook, But Nothing to Show For It

Description

I will log on to Adium, and check the status of my accounts. It will show that Facebook is connected, but no contacts will appear in my Contact List. I tried just logging into Facebook, but it proved insufficient. However, it seems there is some link between being logged in on Facebook online and being logged in on Adium. When I go back on the internet, I will have been logged out of Facebook. I know I use other Facebook plugins which have an application set up on Facebook giving explicit permission to log into my account and use my information. Maybe Adium could do something similar? I am attaching my debug log.

This may be a duplicate of #10073, where no contacts appear—a relatively new problem.

I'm having a similar problem. It connect to Facebook, but my online contacts will only show up in Adium if I "Go Online" in Facebook Chat. If FBChat is disabled via their website, I can't won't see my contacts the next time I launch Adium or reconnect to the Facebook account from with Adium.

To remedy this, could you make it so that I automatically "Go Online" when the Facebook connection starts?
